Descended from four generations of bakers from Alsace, Pierre Hermé began his career at the age of 14, with Gaston Lenôtre. Inspired, creative and curious, he brought flavour and modernity to pastry, with "pleasure as his only guide". This pastry chef and chocolatier takes his technical skills, talent and creativity around the world to the delight of his appreciative clientele. His bold work has made him a star of French gastronomy, and in 2016 he was named World's Best Pastry Chef.
